I look forward to sharing more with you in the coming year. I've been working in the background to create more helpful content. So, keep a lookout in the New Year for tips and strategies to polish your writing skills and elevate your success.

I will talk about it in detail in the interview and review page and let you know once it is done. I also plan to make out time for book reviews for the upcoming year. However, the author will donate a small Amazon gift card to this course to support my work. I will go into more detail about it on the interview and review page and let you know when it's done.

Savour the joyous occasion.

Choose Activities That Will Provide both Short-Term and Long-Term Returns

I just finished the first draft of my book, Mastering Relationship Etiquette for Singles: Your Guide to Navigating the Dating Scene with Grace this morning, and I'm feeling really proud of myself. Of course, there's still a lot of work to be done before it's ready for publication. I have to revise and write subsequent drafts, but I'm praying for the strength and fortitude to bring it to a polished, finished draft.

Today, I wanted to share a quick tip with you about maximizing your time. When it comes to investing your time, it's crucial to choose activities that will provide both short-term and long-term returns.

Another important factor to consider when investing your time is the consequences. Every action you take can have positive or negative consequences. Sometimes things will go as planned, and other times they won't.

However, even negative consequences don't necessarily mean that your efforts are in vain. It may mean that you need to change your approach or persevere through a difficult season. In all things, spend your time wisely. When you're old and frail, you'll look back on your life and wish you had spent your time more productively.

Remember, it's better to try and fail than to do nothing and have nothing to show for your time.

I hope you have a wonderful week. The RCCG Annual Holy Ghost Congress is taking place this week. If you can, I would like you to attend in person or watch it online. May you and I both experience Divine Repositioning in our destiny. Amen!

Hard Times A Poem by Damilola Ogunremi

Hard times, oh hard times, they build our strength like clay

Molding us into something strong, day by day

With every trial and test, we grow and become

A masterpiece of resilience, a work of art divine.

In the furnace of adversity, we're forged and refined

Our inner strength and character intertwine

Like steel that's tempered in fire, we emerge anew

Ready to face whatever life may bring to view.

The wisdom born of hardship guides us on our way

To a future bright and full of grace

For though the path be winding and long

We know that in the end, we'll find our place

So let not hard times discourage or dismay

For in them lies the power to make us stay

Stronger than before, with hearts of gold

And destinies that shine like stars in the cold.

Authors' Curtilage Quotes

Authors' Curtilage Quotes

Staying on the right path in life is crucial. It's important to avoid the temptation to stray, even temporarily. How to Escape Writing a Poor Story

Writing a poor story can be frustrating and discouraging for any writer. So, here are a few tips to help you avoid writing a poor story:

1. Plan and outline your story: Before you start writing, take some time to plan your story and create an outline. This will help you identify any potential plot holes or weak points in your story early on.

2. Develop your characters: Creating well-rounded and interesting characters is crucial to engaging your readers. Spend time developing your characters' personalities, motivations, and backstories to make them more relatable and engaging.

3. Show, don't tell: Avoid simply telling your readers what's happening in your story. Instead, use descriptive language and sensory details to show them what's happening and engage their imagination.

4. Edit and revise: Once you've finished your first draft, take some time to edit and revise your work. Look for areas where the story may be weak or confusing, and make changes to strengthen those areas.

5. Get feedback: Finally, share your work with others and ask for feedback. This can help you identify areas where your story may be weak or confusing, and give you new ideas for how to improve it.

Authors' Curtilage Quotes | Take the Necessary Measures Before Quitting

REMINDER: IF THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY!

What do you want to do but are holding back from doing?

When you think of this specific thing you want to do, what do you tell yourself?

Do you utilise any of the following defences?

"I don't have time."
"I don't have the resources."
"I don't have the money."
"I don't have the connection.
"I don't know where to go."
"I don't know what to do."

Today, I want to give you some advice: Don't let your perception stop you from going after anything. If you don't know enough about the subject of what you want to do, research it and educate yourself.

The reality of things is sometimes not what is perceived. So, don't let yourself be restrained. If the block you're experiencing comes from your thoughts, now is the time to leave your illusion.

Break free from the fear and excuses that have you bound.

Sometimes, barriers are placed in our way by others' influence, enmity, ill will, envy, harsh words said to us, etc. Whatever it is, trust me when I say you it's all mental, and you can walk out of it.

Lift up your hands and do what little you can to accomplish the task you have in mind.

Start pushing yourself beyond your comfort zone today, go for your goals, and broaden your horizons.

During this month of October, deal with the things that are holding you back that aren't really worth it.

May your answer be close as you allow yourself to be open-minded and consider various possibilities to realise your goals.

Love and light

Genre

Genres are a way of categorizing different types of movies based on their common attributes and themes.

For instance, action, comedy, drama, horror, and romance are all popular film genres. The audience's expectations for a particular genre are shaped by their previous experience with media in that genre. For example, if someone watches a romantic movie, they will expect a love story, a happy ending, and possibly some conflict or obstacles the couple must overcome. Similarly, if someone watches an action movie, they will expect a lot of excitement, thrilling stunts, and a hero who saves the day.

Genres help the audience to choose what they want to watch based on their preferences and expectations. Therefore, it's crucial to adhere to the advice in the picture above. I wish you all the best with your writing project. Let me know if you need any help with it.

Raised in Plenty

I don't look down on anyone who is a tad or downright poor. I relate well to everyone, regardless of wealth. I don't envy those who are more gifted than me. Rather, I respect their talent. I don't deceive myself into thinking that there are no faults in me just because I'm a born-again Christian. This awareness and acceptance of my shortcomings as a human being enables me to actively address any flaws in my life in a timely manner and helps me develop a stronger sense of self and a wisdom of character.

I'm a work in progress.

I'm on either side of the bridge because I had an upbringing.

I was raised in plenty as a child, and I don't only mean materially. I was raised with a rich mindset as opposed to a poverty mentality, which always befalls those with shallow personalities. I was raised with principles that permeated my faith and every aspect of my life, along with deeply ingrained scruples. Morality that keeps me from giving in to any wild longings and enables me to say an unequivocal "no" to wrongdoing. I was taught the value of hard work and to identify with every class of people.

Giving a child money and material possessions does not equate to providing them with a sound upbringing.

Along with providing for your children, also inculcate in them the moral principles that will help them develop a more sophisticated and resilient character—a necessary quality for successfully navigating through life.

I am Damilola Ogunremi, author of "For Mums: Golden Guidelines for Raising Excellent Kids."

I wish you a happy parenting experience and a wonderful weekend! Let me know if you need any assistance or training with character coaching for your children.  ðŸ’šðŸ’¡

Authors' Curtilage Quotes | Keep the Light On Yourself

Don't take the light off yourself by having a self-deprecating perspective when immature, shallow, spiteful, and malevolent people try to dim your light. Some individuals shine because they are positioned in the sunshine, while others shine because they are the sun. Recognize the light you emit and adopt a worldview that enables you to live a life free from the evil, egotistical, and self-centred control and grasp of men.

Your superhero behavior is completely controlling how horrible individual's deeds, and situations affect you rather than allowing them to degrade and depress you.

As you continue in the year, don't let anyone's attempts to dim or obscure your shine interfere with the big visions you have for your life, cause you to abandon your ambitions, or cause you to walk out of God's plans for your life. You cannot avoid these adversaries—human or otherwise—on your trek toward destiny. So, whatever comes your way, continuously develop a plan of action to succeed. Face your life, relationships, and business with complete confidence.

I pray you have a fruitful week and month ahead.

Never Waste Precious Time...

Reminder: 💚 Besides poverty, procrastination and indecision are dream killers. They are significant obstacles that prevent someone from achieving their important aspirations. They are terrible instruments of misery that trap a person in a state of big dreams and inaction while they watch others achieve their goals.

Make decisions that are specific and solid for the way you would like to proceed with the goal you have for your life.

Make a decision about what you want to accomplish with your talents, business, career, hobby, relationship, or raising your children, and go after it.

In life, until you take the initiative to accomplish what you want, you will never be able to move on to the next stage.

As you move along the path of your destiny's spiritual journey, don't discount the immense power of acting—and acting now, while you still have your strength.

Don't waste precious time waiting for the big help. Make the most of what you have to realise your dreams.

Don't let your inaction snare the opportunities intended to lead to life-changing breakthroughs.

TAKE ACTION NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

I wish you an enjoyable weekend.

Your friend and Coach,
Damilola Ogunremi.

Authors' Curtilage Quotes

Trying to wake up from a terrifying dream is what it feels like when trusted, supposedly close friends betray you, stab you in the back, ruin your reputation without any justification, and still act like they've done you no wrong by labelling you the bad guy in the pack.

More shockingly, in a society where moral standards are eroding, this group of people thrives with their twisted personalities and deranged minds. So, nothing to make them feel guilty, then. Don't worry about their conscience. I suppose, no matter how long it takes, the divine always finds a way to bring back to a person what they have sent out into the universe. You are free to express your shock and hurt at the betrayal, but you should never fight with these kinds of friends. Release them from your life, and move toward stronger connections and this is how you win.

Enjoy your Sunday and get enough rest to welcome tomorrow.

For Mums: Golden Guidelines for Raising Excellent Kids

Some parents have benches in their living rooms while their friends have expensive furniture because most of their money must go toward the children's school expenses.

When you're stretching every penny you have to raise your children so they can have a comfortable life in the future, you even tend to dress less when other parents dress ostentatiously. Be unconcerned with what people think of you, what they say about you, or how they appear compared to your lifestyle.

Material child-rearing is a matter of capacity. Give what you can with love to the children, and let the extravagant live their extravagant lives.

You may not have much, but be a dedicated, caring, hardworking parent who puts food on the table with whatever he can afford, has lots of love, and raises the children with healthy discipline in a home where God is revered.

Continue sowing for a better future for your children; it will eventually bear robust, worthwhile fruit.

Raise well-behaved and emotionally responsible children.

Spread Love: Happy Valentine's Day

You may feel envious or want what the other person has.

You may consider it unfair that someone has what you lack.

You may view someone with contempt or as being inferior to you.

You may feel hate because you've experienced mistreatment from others, whether in your family, community, or other social groups.

While you may not have any control over your feelings, you do have power over how you behave. So, whatever you feel this season, remember to spread love rather than hate. Be pure in your soul. Don't let poison corrupt your spirit. Avoid letting the dark contaminate your soul. Give love to all the people in the relationships that surround you, and even extend love to those you don't know.

Happy Valentine's Day! ðŸ’—

New Book Testimonial

I appreciate your generosity in providing this book; I learned so much.

I love the fact that you explained each guideline starting with addressing the behaviour of the mum herself (you can't give what you don't have). Making mums take on the responsibility of modelling good behaviour is crucial to raising children properly. And then you also raised the most important thing, which is "run with their own time."

I believe children are not born empty; they have their own unique personalities, so our job as mothers is to guide, nurture, and protect them, and these things take time. It's important to note that children are not just empty slates that we just write on and expect results within one second. They need time to process all the information and instructions they are receiving.

For Mums: Golden Guidelines for Raising Excellent Kids is a must-read for mothers and would-be mothers who want to raise children with great character and morality. Each chapter offers helpful advice on how to make raising children enjoyable.
